Today’s the day that my life is going to change. If you’re an avid reader of all my little life tales, you’ll remember me mentioning that I’m a hoarder. Well, a THIN RICH & BOOZIE hoarder that is. Remember that 24 light Chrystal Chandelier that I mentioned? It was purchased at an estate sale with hopes of finding a place for it either with a client or at one of my homes. It’s huge and extremely heavy. It went from its home in storage to the middle of our apartment. It would be great if it were actually hung in the middle of our apartment, but for the last 2 ½ years it has been on an industrial rolling rack in the spot where I would have a dining room table (if I had room). Well, today is the day that all this is going to change… I’m relocating it, several paintings, and other miscellaneous furniture to the house, to be store or used. For my birthday, I’ve asked to remodel what is now a workshop/storage area into a full functioning art/design studio. It’s all planned and all that’s left is for us now is to start the renovation. It’s going to be great… and in the middle of the room this glamorous chandelier will finally have a worthy and permanent home.
I’ll keep you posted to how the project is going. I’m sure it won’t be too speedy, so don’t expect it to be an overnight transformation.
