Cocktailing for the Kids…

Well as promised, I’m giving you what you’ve been waiting for… a new post … duh.  My Life has been so THIN RICH & BOOZIE over the past 2 weeks that I don’t even know where to start.

First, THIN: Diet update:  I’m down 14 pounds with more to 16 let before August 5th’s goal of 32 x 32.

Second, RICH:  Although I’ve been playing Mega Millions, I have yet to win, so I’ll have to keep playing.

FINALLY, BOOZIE:  My BOOZING habits are very hit or miss these days… obviously because I’m focusing so much on the THIN part of TR&B… but I have managed a few cocktails.  As I’m sure you all know, Gay Pride weekend was this Sunday past. What is Gay Pride weekend if not a time to be THIN RICH & BOOZIE?  Well girls and boys I was Proud, just perhaps a little too proud.  The Gay Pride Parade wasn’t on my original plans for Sunday afternoon, but when Andrew had to hop on flight to LA, I called up my gaggle and headed into the city for some day drinking turned night drinking…

Last night was another night of Cocktailing but this time it was for THE KIDS… The lovely thing about living in the city, there’s always away to be both a Philanthropist and a drunk at the same time.  Buying tickets for open bar events is a great way to give and receive at the same time.  Last night was no different of course but what a better way than supporting the Hudson Guild, a local charity that funds activities to underprivileged youth.  Last night we raised money to send kids to summer camp.  Nothing says TR&B like helping others.
