Bringing Home the GOLD…

The furniture move went off splendidly.  I departed the office a little early on Thursday to pick up the moving truck to get my giant chandelier out of my apartment and into the garage at BlackStone.  Success!  After a grueling couple of hours packing up the truck (without help mind you, Andrew was stuck at the office), I set out on the open road to make the 1 ½ hour journey from property A to property B (BlackStone).  I have to say I was a bit nervous about driving the large 10 foot Budget truck all alone.  If you know me at all, most likely you wouldn’t call me a good driver.  Sure I’ve gone many a year without accident (knocking on wood as I type) but I think that’s only been by sheer luck.  A few years ago I came incredibly close to side swiping a NJ State Trooper… A couple of hundred dollars later all was safe.  Back to point… I actually found driving the truck a tiny bit exciting.  I had the radio blaring (the real kind, not the satellite version I’ve grown accustom) and I was owning the highway.  Sure I was worried about the stuff in the back shifting and sliding, but I trucked on.  I finally arrived to the house and unloaded the treasures into our garage turned storage facility.

You’ll never guess what is finally in the dining area at the apartment…  A table and chairs.  Crazy I know.
